The two times we came to Kawasaki, I had hoped for some time to cover Yokohama but as it turned out both times we spent way too much time at Ultraman Club and the Bandai Namco Wonderpark and also an awesome good time over at a blogger friend’s house. Kak Hani had so generously opened her house, even cooked a delicious lunch for us. Raimie got hooked playing Nintendo Wii with her son and daughter there and was pleading for us to get one by the time we stepped out the door

Children’s Peace Monument And A Story Of Sadako Sasaki
We visited Hiroshima Peace Park in 2008. When we reached the Children’s Peace Monument, we saw brightly colored paper cranes everywhere and this monument. The photo wasn’t good, I know, but on top on the bell-like structure is a statue of Sadako Sasaki holding a crane

I’ve got panda eyes for the past weeks. I am sleeping less than 5 hours daily and it was worse on weekends because for two Friday nights in a row, I was totally awake and slept for a total of one/two hours the next morning. When I can’t sleep, my house tend to be clean

Japanese Cultural Tour tomorrow for Setsubun
If you’re in Niseko this week, it’s highly recommended to go along and take part in the Japanese Cultural Tour in Kutchan tomorrow. Starting with a tea ceremony, the day includes other traditional activities such as martial arts, Taiko drum performance, Niseko Sake Brewey visit and ends with a beautiful, authentic Japanese dinner.
