On The Run – Yufuin

Read my first post of this “On The Run” series at: On The Run – Yokohama to know why I’m all excited about doing morning runs in Japan. ^^ I didn’t really have running gear suitable for the colder season and buying new ones would be such a waste since I’m only using it a few times so to keep me warm, I just put on my Uniqlo heatech shirt and another shirt on top it and my usual capri pants

Taito Ward Walking

The second last day for us in Japan was spent with a whole lot of walking. I started the day with the most ideal way for me; running! Yeay me! My head felt heavy from being “lazy” taking a break from running the past few days since it rained both days we were in Kawasaki and the first two days in Tokyo, my gum was still throbbing painfully

Ogawamachi For A Day!

Day 13 is like a non-event. We spent more than half a day at Ogawamachi, climbing up steps after steps into/up the numerous sporting goods there looking for a bargain

Asakusa To Kinshicho On Foot

The second day we were in Tokyo, we woke up to a bright, sunny day which was a relief for us. I don’t know whether I can stand any more rainy, gloomy days for the rest of our vacation.

The Kagawa Prefecture

I started the day by going out for a run (alone, this time) at 6.00am. The Takamatsu Port is just about 1km away from the hotel we were staying in. It helped that I saw a runner (in compression wear, no less) along the way so I just kept pace (read: make sure he was within sight) with him until I knew roughly where I wanted to do my run.

The Fourth Island

Shikoku; the smallest island of the four main island in Japan and that’s the destination we’re headed to in Day 5. Took this very cutely decorated Anpanman character Limited Express Shikaze train from Okayama to Matsuyama, just minutes before it’s set to depart from the station.

Synchronise Your Watches!

When one has the habit of arriving the train platform just minutes before the train departs, it is imperative that our watch is synchronised to train station’s time.
