On The Way To Nyuto Onsen…
We took the Akita Shinkansen Komachi from Ueno Station to Tazawako Station for our one night stay at Taenoyu Onsen in Nyuto Onsen. I know I’ve posted endless post about Tazawako and Nyuto Onsen but hey! Why not post another one lest one stray visitor looking for some info chances upon this blog. ^^ Sorry.

Push Project – Burton Collaborate With Nokia
In 2009 the Nokia Push Project changed the game and helped re-imagine skating, kite aerial photography, city guides and more! 2011 will see Nokia and Burton get it on, launch and collaborate on the Push Project to apply to the snowboarding world. Festivals Around The Corner
Summer months always garner various celebrations in Japan; with parades, fireworks and crowds taking over the streets throughout the country. It became popular in the Edo period (1603-1868) as events to relieve summer fatigue. Another way to relieve summer fatigue is by eating unagi (eel), I was told.

61st Sapporo Snow Festival
The 2010 Sapporo Snow Festival, held from 5th to 11th February, is still a couple of weeks from now but preparations are well underway. In Odori Park masses of snow have been brought in from sites around the city, built up and surrounded by scaffolding in preparation for the epic snow sculptures to be formed over the coming days
