After my Autumn Reminiscence series, I thought I’d start on another. And it’s something that I love doing and that’s running, folks. Combine running and venturing out in a strange city = seeing things I probably won’t be seeing otherwise.

and we saw snow fall in Hakodate. Such a novelty for us and despite getting our frozen ears to feel like they can fall off, it was a blast being on the south tip of Hokkaido in December 2011.

Winter Bites

and my first photo for 2012. Did a 12K run under the sweltering heat decked in an almost black outfit this morning but enjoyed it nevertheless and did a 10K yesterday to say bye-bye to 2011.

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! あけましておめでとうございます *^-^* Hope that 2012 will be a good year for everyone.

Gah! How did the two weeks vacation went by so quickly? What did we do in these two weeks? I wish we have more time! But home we must return and earn more money so that we can afford another vacation in the future
