Reflections

of the Tokyo Sky Tree while we were meandering around; walking from Asakusa to Kinshicho one fine day last year. You can truly view Tokyo Sky Tree from everywhere and at all angles in Asakusa! Tokyo Sky Tree stands almost twice as tall as Tokyo Tower, a measly 333 metres in height compared to Sky Tree’s 634 metres. Tokyo Sky Tree will replace Tokyo Tower’s role of the signal broadcasting tower.

Oke?

A post inspired by Rurousha’s very interesting snippet about one particular rat-like boy(?) which is one of the many colourful statues that one can find in the street near Sensoji in Asakusa. Also, if you want to know the meaning of the word on the title, you’d have to read the comment section of

On A Bleak Winter’s Day

Cold and raw the north wind doth blow Bleak in the morning early All the hills covered with snow And winter’s come now fairly Still very, very cold in Tokyo?

On The Run – Takamatsu (Day I)

Read my previous “On The Run” post too after finishing this. I had Yokohama and Yufuin posted up earlier.

On The Run – Yufuin

Read my first post of this “On The Run” series at: On The Run – Yokohama to know why I’m all excited about doing morning runs in Japan. ^^ I didn’t really have running gear suitable for the colder season and buying new ones would be such a waste since I’m only using it a few times so to keep me warm, I just put on my Uniqlo heatech shirt and another shirt on top it and my usual capri pants

On The Run – Yokohama

After my Autumn Reminiscence series, I thought I’d start on another. And it’s something that I love doing and that’s running, folks. Combine running and venturing out in a strange city = seeing things I probably won’t be seeing otherwise.
